Which roasters does it work with?

RoastCurve reads roasters over the network (Modbus) and over USB. Its catalogue maps the temperatures of 160 models from 71 manufacturers. Roasteries roast with it today on IMF and iRm machines. Roast by profile is set up and checked with each roastery on its own roaster.

Can it run next to Cropster or Artisan?

Yes, on the same computer. Some roasters accept only one program at a time, so on those machines only one of them reads the roaster at a given moment.

What happens to my Cropster history?

Export your roasts from Cropster as .xls or .xlsx, or one ZIP, and drop them into RoastCurve. Curves, events, control steps, weights and weight loss come over, °F converted to °C. On Cropster’s side, exporting many roasts can take a while.

Does it work offline at the roaster?

Yes. Roasting needs no internet. Changes wait on the computer and leave when the connection is back.

You do. Every roast exports as .alog, CSV, JSON or PDF, and the whole account as one file you can import again.

Does it connect to my e-shop?

Not yet. E-shop integration is planned: roasted stock already counts every roast and every sale.
